Annual Parish Picnic
Spring Mountain Ranch - May 18th
About 130 All Saints' members, family, and
friends gathered for worship, food, and fellowship at the largest parish picnic
in recent years. Music for worship was provided by a combined group let by
Will Rydell, Fr. Arsie, and Dolores Iniesta of musicians and singers from the
newly formed Contemporary music group, Holy Child Filipino and Iglesia de Todos
los Santos. The music and liturgy used Spanish, English and Tagalog.
A potluck picnic lunch with a wonderful
variety of vegetables, salads and deserts, and a "water challenge" was answered
with a variety of "water delivery methods" from big water shooters to plain
water bottles and cups. Kids of all ages joined the fun, and when it was
over, not too many who were completely dry.
This year's picnic was the first since the
formation of Iglesia de Todos los Santos, and the first gathering of this kind
for the full parish, including the traditional, Filipino, and Hispanic
congregations. Enjoy the photos - and download them if you wish.
